Let’s Blaspheme the Holy Spook!

posted by Brother Jeff

There are three major things that religion needs not only in order to survive, but in order to thrive. Those three things are: IGNORANCE, GUILT, AND FEAR.

The primary issue I wish to address in this post is FEAR, but I will be making a few brief comments on religious ignorance and guilt as well.

Religion was born in ignorance, and it unfortunately still stands for and breeds ignorance quite successfully even in our scientifically advanced society. In ancient, pre-scientific times, mankind created various gods to explain the origin and workings of the natural world. Gods come and go and fall in and out of favor, but science has steadily been putting mankind’s mythical gods out of a job for several centuries now. Scientific advances have served to continually give god fewer gaps to occupy. In his ignorance, man said that god created the universe. Various ancient creation myths, including the two contradictory myths in the Bible, bear witness to this fact. Scientific research has now replaced the “god” of scientific ignorance with the actual event that brought our universe into existence: a quantum vacuum fluctuation, which demonstrates the purely natural, acausal nature of the universe. For more on this subject, please see this glorious link:

http://zebu.uoregon.edu/~js/ast123/lectures/lec17.html

In ancient times, illness was considered to be either an act of God or of the Talking Snake or of one or more of his evil spooks. Today, thanks to medical science, we know that gods, devils, and evil spooks do not cause illness. Mental and physical illnesses all have entirely natural causes. In fact, absolutely everything in the universe has an entirely natural cause, which leaves absolutely nothing for a god to do. If there is a god, then he must be an extremely BORED deity, since nothing that occurs in the universe or on this planet requires his presence or action in any way, shape, or form. We live in a godless universe which originated from and operates by entirely natural causes.

Religion also thrives on creating guilt in believers. As Brother George Carlin has said, “Religion has actually convinced people that there’s an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever ’til the end of time!”

Think about it! According to the Christian religion, there is an Invisible Magically Undead Man named Jesus living in the Sky (How did he get to the Sky Kingdom? Well, he magically floated up there about 2000 years ago! Glory!), and if we don’t make Him happy, sing praises to his name, and ask him to forgive us for doing shit that pisses him off, he will roast us for an eternity in a flaming torture chamber that he originally intended for the Talking Snake and his evil spooks. People who believe this ridiculous religious bullshit understandably feel guilty. I probably would too if I lived my life believing that I was born worthy of being tossed into a flaming torture chamber and if I lived my life fearing invisible sky people and worrying that I had done something that pissed them off.

Guilt and fear are closely tied emotions. We feel guilt when we know we have done something wrong, whether intentionally or not. Along with guilt comes fear of consequences and punishment in some form. Feeling guilt for wrongdoing - whether the wrong done is real or imagined - is a normal part of the human experience. What I am against is not guilt or fear themselves - normal emotions given the proper circumstances - but unneccesary, baseless religious guilt and fear. It is ridiculous as well as tragic to go through life fearing imaginary gods and feeling guilty for doing shit that you have been taught pisses them off. It is this ridiculous, baseless, but nonetheless very powerful religious fear that I wish to address. Religious fear holds a great deal of power over the minds of believers. Religious fear and guilt are powerful motivators that keep the devoutly religious in line and keep them from thinking for themselves. Christianity thrives on religious fear. We are taught to fear God, fear the Talking Snake, fear hell, fear evil spooks, and fear blaspheming God. FEAR, FEAR, AND MORE FEAR! GLORY!

Concerning blaspheming the Holy Spook, the Bible has this to say:

Matthew 12:31-32 And so I tell you this crazy bullshit, everything men do that pisses Me off will be forgiven them, but saying nasty things about the Spook of Me who is also somehow magically Me will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against Me, the Magic Sky Man, will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Spook of Me who is also somehow magically Me will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the magical age to come.

Mark 3:28-29 I tell you some crazy bullshit, all the shit men do that pisses Me off will be forgiven them. But whoever says nasty things about the Spook of Me who is also somehow magically Me will never be forgiven; I will stay pissed off at him forever.

Luke 12:10 And everyone who speaks a word against Me, the Magic Sky Man, or the Holy Farter version of Me up there in the Sky will be forgiven, but anyone who says nasty things about the Spook of Me who is also somehow magically Me will not be forgiven.

Or, as the KJV puts it:

Matthew 12:31-32 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Mark 3:28-29 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

Luke 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

ETERNAL DAMNATION! Think about how much FEAR those statements create in those who believe them and take them seriously! If you speak about the Holy Ghost and say nasty things about Him, you have doomed yourself to an eternity of torture in God’s loving blast furnace!

The following exercise, inspired by Reverend Jeremiah’s “Supreme Blasphemy” page, is meant to shock, but it’s also intended to make a very important point. Below, I have written very strong intentionally blasphemous statements, followed by some additional commentary. The entire text below is currently also posted on Reverend Jeremiah’s “Supreme Blasphemy” page, which is located here: http://www.reverendjeremiah.com/blasphemysupreme.htm:

FUCK THE HOLY SPOOK AND THE MAGIC PIGEON THAT IS ALSO SOMEHOW MAGICALLY HIM! THE EVIL SPOOK OF GAWD IS A MURDERER! THE MAGIC PIGEON KILLS PEOPLE SIMPLY FOR LYING! (Acts Chapter 5) FUCK THAT SPOOK!

The Holy Ghost is an ignorant piece of shit who knows nothing of the universe that the flat earth version of Himself (Jesus) allegedly magically created according to the ridiculous pre-scientific Genesis creation myth, and he stands by and does nothing while evil men repeatedly have shed the blood of innocent people in his name, or in the name of the Holy Farter or His Magical Sky Son who is also somehow magically Him. If I was to somehow magically encounter the mythical Spook of Kryasst who is also somehow magically Him, I would kick His murderous ass! The Holy Ghost is a murderous monster many times worse than Brother Hitler could ever dream of being. Brother Hitler killed six million Jews. The Holy Ghost, or at least the Holy Farter version of Him, drowned the entire flat planet because mankind pissed Him off, and he ordered or directly committed the slaughter of thousands - men , women, and children - as recorded in the Old Testicle. In the New Testicle, He kills two people simply for lying and roasts the vast majority of his “crowning creation” in a flaming torture chamber. This is BILLIONS of people! We would lock up any human father who intentionally burned his child for ANY reason for ANY length of time and rightly consider him to be a monster. Can we honestly label an Invisible Spook who barbecues billions of people for an eternity in a flaming torture chamber - regardless of the reason - as anything other than a MONSTER? The Holy Ghost is LOVE, you say? FUCK THAT SHIT! If the Holy Ghost is Love, then so was BROTHER HITLER! I think it’s obvious that the Holy Ghost is a crazy myth and a “goofy-ass concept” as Brother Jeremiah puts it, but to me, the Holy Ghost also bears a striking resemblance in character to the Talking Snake! The Holy Ghost is the Talking Snake! If he was real, the Holy Ghost would obviously be SATAN, and he would do what SATAN is said to do - lie, steal, kill, and destroy.

Well, Holy Shit! Check it out! I have blasphemed the hell out of the Holy Ghost, and I’m still here! The ridiculous myth of a Sky Spook hasn’t struck me dead! Hall-lay-LOOH-Yah!! Glory!

What I wrote above will be extremely shocking to many people. In fact, it shocks ME! I blaspheme the Holy Spook all the time in fun, but I don’t make a habit of such blatant, profane blasphemy. Christians who read my blasphemous statements will no doubt consider me damned to Hell without any hope of forgiveness in this life or the next magical eternal life that they believe occurs after this one is over. My point in writing intentional and very strong blasphemy is to demonstrate that there is nothing to fear. As Reverend Jeremiah has said, blasphemy is a victimless crime, and I agree! There is no god up there in the sky and no Sky Spook who was offended by my statements beyond the ability to forgive. In fact, think about that contradiction! When He’s not busy killing folks and He is in one of His better and less psychotic moods, he commands us to forgive one another to love each other. And yet, He refuses to forgive anyone who speaks against His Spook! How fucked up is that? Doesn’t say much for the Holy Ghost does it, if He can’t handle being criticized and cursed by mere men. The reality is that the Holy Ghost is a MYTH no more real than Zeus or Hera or any of the other thousands of gods that mankind has dreamed up over the centuries, and there is no rational reason to fear beings that are obviously the stuff of ancient myth. If you are a Christian and you are reading this - WAKE UP!! There is NO GOD and NO AFTERLIFE! The ONLY place that God is real is in your MIND. The Holy Ghost is real only in your MIND. He never says or does anything in the REAL WORLD. There is a very simple and very good reason why that is the case. It is because he DOES NOT EXIST.

Nostalgia for the “Good Old Days”

posted by Brother Jeff

No, I’m not struggling with religious beliefs, though sometimes I admittedly do get nostalgic for the “good old days” when I was a believer, because my Christian experience really wasn’t bad at all. There is a song called “The Warrior” by the Christian Rock band Mylon LeFevre & Broken Heart that describes struggle in religious terms. Though that’s not what I’m going through, I can still really relate to the song.

Many years on the road
Many more miles to go
We can not waste another single day
The nights are hard and long
But He has made us strong enough
To take His love and give it all away
And i know — He said to go

Cause there’s a war that’s going on,
A soul is raging
A battle weary warrior is praying
And you must understand what the song is saying
Come on home to the Father
Come on home to the Son
Come on home the battle’s over,
Christ has won

Tonight could be the night
That you could see the light
And you could trade your worst in for His best
And he could take your sin
And cast it in the wind
As far as from the east unto the west
And i know it’s time to go cause

Cause there’s a war that’s going on,
A soul is raging
A battle weary warrior is praying
And you must understand what the song is saying
Come on home to the Father
Come on home to the Son
Come on home the battle’s over,
Christ has won

O come home to the Father,
Oh come on home
Oh i want to hear Him say
Welcome home my children …
Little children … lonely people
All you people … Jesus is waiting
Brothers and sisters
War is over
Well done good and faithful servant
Enter now into the joy of the Lord

There are stages to deconversion just as there are stages to grief. They are: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.

I stayed in the “anger” phase of deconversion for a long time. I was very angry and depressed when I came to the realization that my once cherished religious beliefs were based not on Truth, but on a bunch of ancient myths and lies. For a long time before I officially deconverted, I was in denial that it was happening to me. During that time, I devoured Christian apologetics while trying desperately to salvage my faith - but to no avail. Christian apologetics could not silence the questions I had and the voices of doubt raging in my head. My religious faith died a natural death in early 2000 due to knowledge I was gaining reading the skeptical side, and though nostalgia can be strong at times, I don’t regret that death.

I get nostalgic sometimes for the good times when I was a Christian. I had lots of good friends, and we had lots of good times both in and out of church. I no longer struggle with faith per se, but I do struggle with nostalgia at times. Everybody does. It’s natural to reflect back on life and think about the past and sometimes to really wish for the good times to be again. But I can never return to religious faith, and I know it, because I know too much. Would I like to trade in my knowledge for the joy of being able to believe once again? Sure. And if they are honest, I’m sure there are many Ex-Christians out there who would say the same thing. But emotional reasons are not good enough or strong enough reasons to return to faith. Paradise has been lost in a sea of knowledge, and it can never be regained again - at least, not as it was.

Those of us who have left the Christian faith have to not only get over the terrible pain of deconversion; we have to start over from scratch and build our inner lives anew. We have to find new meaning to life, new reasons for living, new thoughts to think, new knowledge to rejoice in and ponder - everything in the inner life has to be rebuilt. At least, that’s how it was for me, and I can only really speak for myself.

So right now, I have moved past “anger” and I am in the “grief” stage of deconversion, mourning what has been lost - a vibrant religious faith that provided a lot of hope and a whole lot of happiness.

The fact that I am moving through the stages of deconversion assures me that I am not stagnant. I am learning and growing and hopefully becoming a better person for it each and every day. As the song says though, there are “many years (yet) on the road, and many more miles to go”. This is just a step along the way on a lifelong journey concerning religion. Glory!

Christianity - A Really Stupid Cult!

posted by Brother Jeff

This glorious post was contributed by Brother Dunany77 of Ex-Christian.net. Glory! - BJ

I define xianity as a cult because it is:

  • an exclusive belief system that idolizes a set of mystical writings,
  • depends on human leaders and experts to decipher the writings,
  • encourages groups to meet together and learn from a leader,
  • encourages people to give money to the leader,
  • instills indoctrination ideas to make people feel guilty for experiencing human behaviors
  • commits logocide in order to re-define common words like love, life death, saved etc

All of these thing are detrimental to human experience and living a fulfilled life.

“A really stupid cult with stupid rules”

The rules and regulations of the mystical writings, as interpreted by the enlightened leaders and experts, causes psychological and emotional damage to the believer. Rules based on human sexuality, courtship, food and social integration cause believers to reject their natural instincts and force themselves to behave in unnatural ways. One example is the rule about no sex before marriage. This rule causes young adults to increase their stress levels at a time in their life when the physiological changes to their bodies are creating high anxiety and new sexual urges. The church’s doctrinal regulation forces the young adult to refrain from acting on these urges, and instead causes discord and confusion that only leads to failure to live up to the regulation, and further increases feelings of guilt and self-loathing.

“and stupid leaders”

The leaders of the churches, organizations and religions are humans who have been deceived by the mystical writings, AND have been given positions of power and authority over other deceived people. History and human nature tells us that this is a recipe for disaster. Power = Corruption no matter how you slice it. I will let the 6 o’clock news argue my point on this one.

“and stupid traditions”

Xianity is steeped in ancient pagan traditions that have been re-written by the “authorities” to better promote the ‘new’ religion to the masses. Virgin births, symbolic bread and wine, singing songs to deities, trinity gods, sun worship and astrology are among the most ancient traditions that have been hijacked by xianity in order to amalgamate all religions into one orthodoxy.

“and stupid holidays”

By far, one of the saddest aspects of the cult of xianity is the glorification of torture and death as portrayed in the mythical story of Jesus. He was brutally beaten and then nailed to a wooden crossbeam, where he was forced to undergo great public humiliation while his lungs slowly suffocated under the weight of his own body. This gruesome tale is told to children, and little gold crosses (symbols of Roman Execution) are hung around their tiny necks. This holiday (called Easter - itself of Pagan origins, just look it up) is simply the ultimate expression of the xian worship of death. Believers are only fully sanctified by their mythical god in the act of dying. It is a sad comment on human nature, and I am ashamed to have taken part in it.

“and stupid people”

Once again, history is flooded with xians who have done terrible and heinous acts in the name of Christ. Wars, inquisitions, crusades are all kin to xian history that cannot be denied. The first acts of the new official Roman Religion (xianity) was to convert by force or exile all Roman citizens who refused to comply. In more modern times, xians have created entire museums dedicated to faulty science in order to teach children that the earth is less than 10000 years ole, that humans and dinosaurs walked together, that an invisible ghost created everything from nothing in 6 days. I think the term ’stupid’ is quite an understatement, and I should have used stronger terminology.

“and a super stupid stupid stupid stupid BOOK!”

Here we have the crux of the matter. A collection of ancient writings written by men between 2000 and 3000 years ago. For the most part the writings are anonymous, and at best, we cannot verify the existence of the authors of the signed books. The tales told of talking snakes, floating axeheads, radioactive boxes, great plagues, super human strength, miraculous healing, walking on water, flying, teleportation, killing innocent children, human sacrifice, possession, ghosts, demons, and eternal hellfire for all non-believers put the Greeks to shame! One man’s Mythology is another man’s Orthodoxy. To believe these things as literally true is to insult the beautiful complexity of the human brain.

A Swift Kick in the Ass with Philippians

posted by Brother Jeff

This is a bit of a departure for me, but I’m gonna do it anyway. I have always wanted to give Christians a swift kick in the ass with their own holy book. I’ll start with the shorter epistles, beginning with the book of Philippians.

(Php 1:27) Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ: that, whether I come and see you or be absent, I may hear of your state, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the gospel;

Is your manner of life worthy of the gospel of Christ? Do you live the way Jesus wants you do live and do what Jesus wants you do to, or do you just muddle through life like the rest of us do, hoping that God will forgive you and uttering cliches like “I’m not perfect, just forgiven?”

(Php 1:28)  and in nothing affrighted by the adversaries: which is for them an evident token of perdition, but of your salvation, and that from God;

Are you frightened by adversaries of your beliefs? What do you do when you are persecuted? Do you rejoice, or do you bitch and complain about it and judge those who are persecuting you?

(Php 1:29)  because to you it hath been granted in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer in his behalf:

Do you truly believe that you believe because your faith has been granted by Christ, or do you believe just because it makes you happy to do so? When you suffer in life, what do you do? Do you bitch and complain about it, or do you rise above it in faith?

(Php 2:5)  Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

(Php 2:6)  who, being in the form of God, counted it not a prize to be on an equality with God,

(Php 2:7)  but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men;

(Php 2:8)  and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, yea, the death of the cross.

According to the bible, Jesus was god, but he humbled himself and became a man and then became obedient to the point of being willing to die on the cross. How does this supposed reality affect your life? Do you have the same mind in you which was also in Jesus? How are you doing in the humility department?

(Php 2:12)  So then, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

Do you work out your own salvation with fear and trembling before god, or do you worry instead about what others are doing?

(Php 2:14)  Do all things without murmurings and disputings;

Do you do that? Do you do all things without murmuring or complaining? Do you bitch about what you have to do at work or around the house? Do you bitch about the activities you have to do in daily life, or do you truly do all things without complaint?

(Php 2:21)  For they all seek their own, not the things of Jesus Christ.

Do you live life for yourself, or do you live it for Jesus and seek to please only him? Do you seek the things of this world, or do you seek the things of Jesus Christ and heaven above?

(Php 3:8)  Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may gain Christ,

Is this how you live? Is this what you really, honestly believe? Is this how to treat your life before you came to Christ? Are you a True Believer like Brother Paul, or are you one of those lukewarm “Christians” that Jesus is going to spew out of his mouth?

(Php 3:14)  I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Brother Paul’s goal was the high calling of Jesus Christ. What is yours? What is your goal in life? Is it to be like Jesus, or is it something else?

(Php 4:6)  In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

(Php 4:7)  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Are you ever anxious for anything? Do you let your requests be known unto god with thanksgiving, or do you just muddle through life doing the best you can like the rest of us do? Do you experience the “peace of god”? If so, why? If not, why not?

(Php 4:8)  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honourable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

What do you think on? Where do your thoughts dwell? Are your thoughts pleasing to god, or are they just average the way most people’s thoughts are?

My point in doing this is not necessarily to make Christians better Christians (which they won’t be anyway), but instead to try to get them to THINK about the fact that nobody can or does obey verses such as the ones I have highlighted. It is humanly impossible to do so, and it just loads believers down with guilt if they try. It’s not possible with god either, due to the fact that god doesn’t exist. Most Christians that I encounter are far from Christlike, and they live as if the verses I have mentioned don’t exist. They are the most ignorant, arrogant, obnoxious, judgmental people I have ever known. Jesus would be ashamed of most “Christians” alive today if he were alive to witness the way that they live their lives while claming to be his own. In short, Christians, PUT UP OR SHUT UP. Either live the way your holy book tells you to live (which is impossible), or shut the hell up and stop judging and condemning everybody who doesn’t share your ridiculous religious beliefs. In other words, take care of the enormous planks in your own eyes before you start pointing out the tiny specks in ours. Glory!

Study: Gays’ Brain Symmetry Resembles Other Sex

posted by Brother Jeff

From http://www.world-science.net/othernews/080616_gaybrain:

Researchers have found that gay people’s brains resemble those of the opposite sex in some ways, including the extent to which the brain’s sides are symmetric.

Amygdala activity in (top to bottom rows) heterosexual men, heterosexual women, homosexual men and homosexual women. (Image courtesy PNAS)

Some psychological tests have shown differences between men and women in how much they use each of the brain’s hemispheres, or opposite sides, in verbal tasks.

Other research has hinted that homosexuals exhibit the tendencies of the opposite sex in brain behavior unrelated to sexual activity.

In the new study, Ivanka Savic of the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and colleague per Lindström found that the brains of heterosexual men and homosexual women are slightly asymmetric: the right hemisphere is larger than the left.

But the brains of gay men and straight women are not, they found.

The scans also revealed differences in the way the amygdala—a brain structure important for emotional learning—is connected to the rest of the brain, the researchers reported. In these connections, they said, gay men resemble straight women, and lesbians straight men.

A possible explanation is that the amygdala in the latter group is wired for a greater “fight-or-flight” response, said the researchers, who analyzed the brains of 90 subjects.

The scientists used the scanning method known as magnetic resonance imaging or MRI to assess brain size, as well as additional data from a separate scanning method called positron emission tomography or PET. The findings are published in this week’s early online edition of the research journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

This just goes to show how homosexuality is genetic in nature and not a moral issue or a “sin”. - BJ

I Get so Tired…

posted by Brother Jeff

I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.
- Mohandas Gandhi

I find myself in agreement with Gandhi. Though I don’t believe that he was god, I have nothing in particular against Christ. I do, however, have something against Christians, and it is this - I hate their willful ignorance and I hate their bigotry and intolerance. I am referring specifically to homosexuality.

I get so tired of hearing about how homosexuality is allegedly a “sin” and an abomination worthy of death and eternal damnation. I get so tired of hearing Christians - who are supposedly filled the the Holy Spirit and the Love of Jesus - continually spout hatred and bigotry against homosexuals. I get so tired of their willful ignorance in this area. I have news for Christians - you have no idea what you are talking about, the opinions of the authors of your Bronze Age Book of Myths be damned. If you actually, truly knew anything at all about homosexuality, you would know that it is present throughout the animal kingdom, and you would know that it is as natural as heterosexuality is. You would also know that homosexuality may have evolutionary advantages. See the latest issue of Scientific American Mind for the details, if you have any interest in educating yourselves. Another News Byte for Christians - there is no such thing as some evil “homosexual agenda” as you imagine, with homosexuals out to destroy America and the traditional family unit. That’s a delusion and a myth that you have been taught to believe in church. Homosexuals, in reality, want nothing more than the same basic rights that heterosexual couples enjoy, and they most certainly should have them. I have personally known several homosexual individuals over the years, and not one of them has been “evil” or “immoral” in any way. They all have, in fact, been fine, upstanding members of society.

There is nothing at all “wrong” with being homosexual just as there is nothing “wrong” with being left-handed. Genetics is key in both. If God hates homosexuals, then he must also hate the left-handed. I am very thankful that my mother raised me to see that those who are different from me are not necessarily “wrong” or “evil”, but just simply different. I see no reason to hate those who are different from me, and that includes homosexuals. Jesus, by the way, hung out with “sinners” instead of hating them. Christians, don’t you think it’s about time that you did the same? Whenever you express hatred, bigotry, and intolerance, you send the message that that is what your religion stands for, and believe me, we get that message loud and clear! When you start showing love and tolerance and respect for others who differ from you, then perhaps we’ll believe you when you claim that your religion is about love. Glory!
